A Winter's Swim
Today I got a lot accomplished. I vacuumed and mopped our wood and tile floors and cleaned the last room downstairs. All I have left is to clean the three bathrooms which I will do tomorrow morning. I also got in my piano and voice lessons and then it was to the school to pickup the kids.
After feeding the horses I came back inside and ended up taking a short nap. When I wokeup I heard laughter out by the pool. I was quite shocked to see Sierra swimming . .. the water so cold I couldn't believe she was in there like it was nothing. That's our Sierra.
It was then time to pickup Taylor from basketball practice so she got out of the pool, dried off and we were off again! We did run through a drive thru for dinner but that is because I was too tired to cook tonight and the kids had gift certificates.
I then dropped off the kids at the house to start their baths and I had to run a quick errand. On the way home I wanted to stop at Ken and Lisa's to drop off something for Christian and Kaitlyn but they weren't home. I am waiting for them to call me so I can run over there for a little bit. Hopefully I can talk her into making me a cup of coffee :-)
Jordan played in the IHOP prayer room again tonight. In fact, he is still on the set for 20 more minutes. We have been spoiled to be able to watch him two nights in a row.
Carlos left for Canada this morning. He has a speaking engagement there tonight and then flies home tomorrow evening right before Jordan and the gang fly in. I am so excited for tomorrow night . . we are all going to have a great time!
Also, for anyone living close to our church or food pantry . . .there is a huge need. The American cancer society called our pantry and is in need of a bed. They have a cancer victim that is going through chemo and needs a bed.. If you have an extra bed, please let us know and we can pick it up and deliver it. You can email Ken at Kjartigas@aol.com
Thanks!
