Sierra's Dance

This past Friday night Sierra wanted to go to youth group because Jordan was leading worship for the youth praise team. Normally she goes to the children's prayer watch but we let her go to youth group so she could watch Jordan. The last few weeks she has been practicing another dance and she asked our youth pastor George if she could do it that night . . he agreed. That night or the next day . . . I can't remember . . .PG called Carlos and said how awesome Sierra did so Carlos had her do the dance in church today.

While we were waiting for Sierra to begin a snapped a picture of Landon and Jonathan . .. Pastor's George's little boy. Jonathan just adores Landon and vice versa!

I wish my camera would have taken better pictures but this is as good as it got.
The dance was the song by Skillet called Comatose. Skillet is a Christian band and even though the name of the song sounds weird it has a powerful message. She really nailed it with her choreography. We are proud of you Sierra!
Landon and Jonathan said you did an awesome job too!

After church a whole bunch of us went out for Chinese. After lunch Jordan had to head for the airport to head back to KC. We feel so blessed he is able to come back home so often to help us with our praise team.

We had a huge cold front come in today. It is once again very cold. When we all got home from church we enjoyed a great evening in front of the fireplace watching the football playoffs, eating popcorn and chocolate chip cookies and then watching a movie. I love evenings at home like this. Tomorrow the kids do not have school due to Martin Luther King Day so I plan on sleeping in!
