Project 365 - Day 26

These things happened so that the scripture would be fulfilled: Not one of his bones will be broken. John 19:36

Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces, but he on whom it falls will be crushed. Luke 20:18

The LORD called you a thriving olive tree with fruit beautiful in form. But with the roar of a mighty storm he will set it on fire, and its branches will be broken. Jer 11:16

Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings. Is 58:12

We are all so broken Lord
Pieces scattered everywhere
Lives have been shattered
Yet, here we are in prayer
Coming together as Christians
Seeking comfort in despair
Salty tears shared unashamed
We're family, and we care
We are all so broken Lord
This heartache will not cease
But our God walks among us
Picking up each jagged piece
Pulling us gently to Him
When life becomes unfair
Drawing us to each other
I feel His presence there
We are all so broken Lord
But together we are whole
Loving friends are gathered
When pain has taken its toll
This life may be a puzzle
As questions come to mind
Pieces, so many pieces
The answer, I cannot find
We are all so broken Lord
Falling down in our defeat
Holy Hands will touch us
When the puzzle is complete
The time is coming quickly
His Word, it will be spoken
No more pieces,no more puzzle
With Him, no longer broken

Emily, I am really loving your Project 365 entries. I always enjoy your blog (it's like a visit with a friend), but these are just wonderful.
