Movies and a Friend

My good friend Brenda asked me a few days ago to go to the movies with her tonight because her husband was out of town. We haven't been able to get together since before the holidays so we were in need of a "fix" :-)

I didn't think at first I would be able to go because Carlos had a very important meeting with Lou Engle . . founder of The Call earlier this evening but it got done early so I was able to meet her at the theater. Also, she told me some fantastic news . . .when her mom found out that Jordan was going to come home this weekend with 8 of his fellow students . . she surprised us all and went out and bought Universal Tickets for all of them. They are going to be soooooooooooooooo excited. This will be a huge treat for these kids!!! Thanks Martha for your generosity!!
It was great catching up with Brenda tonight and I know we look forward to getting together again soon!
