Today the kids were out of school for Martin Luther King's Day. All the kids had plans . .Alexia hungout with friend Andrea, Taylor went to his friend Chad's house, Landon had his friend Keith over and Sierra went to an indoor amusement center where she happened to run into a bunch families from our church.

Carlos and I decided to spend the day working on things around the house. Before starting our "work" day we spend the morning together over a cup of coffee. Then he went out to mow the lawn and I finished projects inside the house. It felt good to get most of the little things done that I had unfinished around here.

When we were finished he got ready to go to a prayer meeting. He was meeting with about 1000 other pastors who came from all over Florida for the prayer meeting. I was going to go horsebackriding with my girlfriend Angela but they ended up having family come in town so I decided to take the rest of the afternoon off. I did receive a phone call from a very dear friend who I thought I had lost contact with. Her phone call came at the perfect time . . . .we are going to try to get together in the next week or two. Also, talked to my sister and two other friends who had called me last week and I had needed to return their calls.

I practiced piano for about an hour and then organized some things in Sierra's room. We actually got a lot accomplished today. As of now, Carlos is still at the meeting, Alexia is still out and the rest of the kids are getting ready for bed.

My incredible husband! Even though he is always attending a meeting here or going to a meeting there . . . he still always finds time for me and the kids. Love ya Babe!
