Our Annual Night at Downtown Disney

Tonight we met our friends Scott, Tammi and 3 out of 4 of their kids for our annual meeting at Downtown Disney. For years and I mean years we have met there for a night of food and fun at Downtown Disney. Between our two families we have nine kids. We have known their family since 1989 when I was pregnant with Alexia and Tammi was pregnant with her oldest Austen. We started this tradition and it is something both our families look forward to each Christmas season.

This year was different though, for the first time two of our kids were missing. Jordan is back at college and Austen, a senior in high school, could not get out of practice so it was a little strange not having the WHOLE gang with us.

We normally eat dinner at RainForest Cafe but this year we were pressed for time so we decided on a very good sandwich shop right across from the big Christmas tree called Earl of Sandwich.

They have these HUGE tables that fit both our families.Seven of our nine children. Jordan and Austen we missed you!
Scott and TammiLandon and Allison
Allison and Alexia
Aaron and Taylor
Sierra and Amanda
After dinner we went outside and found carolers singing by the big Christmas tree.
Then they had a "trick" man come out and put on a show.

He ended up pulling Landon out of the crowd.
He taught Landon how to juggle. I am so disappointed because the rest of these pictures came out too blurry to post but Landon did a GREAT job!
After the shows we took our annual pictures in front of the tree. It is strange not to see the two older boys in this picture and it's hard to believe we have 6 teenagers this year. We were talking tonight about how little the kids all were when we first started this tradition. Our family photo minus Jordan
Their family photo minus Austen
Almsost the whole gang . . . .

We walked over to Lego Land
Then it was over to Ghirardelli for yummy ice cream, coffee and hot chocolate.
Ordering their scrumptious desserts.
It's hard to believe that Alexia won't be with us next year. She will be in college with Jordan.
Enjoying the time together and the traditions we have made each year.
What a wonderful night filled with happy memories.
