Day 5 Kansas City The Call New Year's Eve

Today One Thing Ended at 12 noon and The Call began. To find out more about The Call click on the highlighted area above. The Call lasts from 12noon to 12 midnight tonight. It is 12 hours of fasting and praying. Praying for the nation, praying that abortion is ended, praying for revival. It's an amazing site to see over 20,000 people coming together and crying out to the Lord for 12 hours. I took a couple one minute videos I will post later.

Everyone except me got to the convention center early. Once I got there I found Landon and Sierra.

The Call is 12 hours of fasting and prayer. Lou Engle is the Director of The Call. When I got there they were just starting to pray that abortion would end.Lou Engle brought up this family. Back when the husband and wife were 20 years old before they were married, she got pregnant. They ended up going to an abortion clinic. The day they went there were tons of girls waiting too. While they were waiting to be called Erica heard a voice say, "Not This One!" She leaned over to her then boyfriend and said, "What did you say?" He said, "I didn't say anything." She then heard it again . . .now she started having an uneasy feeling. A clinic worker ended up coming out and asking the girls if there was anyone who wasn't totally sure that they wanted to the procedure. Erica was the only one that raised her hand. She went over to the worker and the lady told her to go home and think about it for a week. Erica knew she didn't have to think about it anymore. She was not going to abort her baby . . . she was going to have her baby. This is a picture of her son . . .the one she almost aborted. They then had the kids from the IHOP Children's Equipping Center come and start praying for all the women who are thinking about having abortions.

The Director of Bound4life.com then led us all in prayer.

The IHOP Dance Team

Jason Upton lead us into the New Year with an hour of wonderful songs of worship.

Jason is best friends with my friend Lillian's husband Michael. Michael normally plays with Jason but he is in Maryland minstering at another church.

Happy New Year Everyone! May you have a blessed and healthy 2008.

I just found out yesterday that the bass player from our other band at church was at this same event with you guys. How cool is that! He's all fired up now!
