Fundraiser To Help Those In Need

Tonight our friend Ron who is an evangelist and also has a ministry for businessmen had a Prime Rib fundraiser to raise money for a Christmas Outreach that is going to take place in the next few weeks. With the money raised tonight they will be feeding over 500 people and giving toys to needy children who might otherwise not have anything.
Ron cooked the whole meal. He started cooking for this event at 4 am this morning.
This prime rib was the BEST I have ever had!
Our pantry will be hosting and helping with this outreach. Ken is not only our church administrator but runs the pantry too.
It is FREEZING here so that is why I have my winter coat on.
Raul and Millie . . . . Mille is our pantry manager.
Roger and Yvonne
Joe and Terri
Back when Carlos was the a youth pastor for a mega church for 10 years, Joe was the children's pastor at the same church. He is now an evangelist and pastor.
Ron, you did an awesome job putting this whole night together. The food was awesome and all the money raised is going to make a HUGE difference in our community to those in need. Our friends Tony and Laura just recently got engaged.CONGRATULATIONS! The big day is going to be this coming March.
Carlos was suppose to make it to the dinner but he and Alexia had just flown in from Missouri. They have been there the whole week visiting Jordan and also Carlos had meetings with the head leadership at the International House of Prayer. They flew in around 7 pm and was almost to the dinner when he received a call from the airport saying that he had accidentally taken the wrong bag so he had to head all the way back there to exchange bags.
Tonight will be our coldest night of the season so far. We are barely going to be in the low 40's . . we might even reach the high 30's. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
I am now getting ready to head over to Ken and Lisa's to help them set up for Ava's 1st birthday party tomorrow. We figured it would be better to set up tonight than in the morning.

What a GREAT outreach. The dinner looks great! I didn't realize your dh is gone so much. I've only realized that since you started blogging. He really does travel a lot, doesn't he?
