Sierra's Field Trip

Today I had the pleasure of chaperoning a field trip for Sierra' class. The whole second grade was going to see the play Charlotte's Web. The school chartered wonderful Coach Buses with DVD players and comfy seats. Not like back in my day when we went on field trips on the yellow school bus :-)

This is a picture of Alesia and I. She has a son in Sierra's class. We are both the room mothers.

This is my friend and neighbor Angela and her son Braxton. I was glad she was able to chaperon too! She just recently got two horses so I can't wait until we can go riding!
We arrived on time at the Osceola County School of the Arts. This is a picture of Sierra's class. They were so excited to see the play. This is her teacher . .. Sierra is standing next to her but you can't see her face because she is behind the other kids.I had five in my group! They were all wonderful listeners!
We then headed to the theater to watch the play. They anxiously waited for it to start.
The play was very good and the kids seemed to really enjoy it!
After the play we were to have a picnic lunch on the grounds of the performing arts center but it began to rain so we headed back to the school to have a picnic outside the classroom.

It ended up being a wonderful end to a great field trip!
