I Met My Online Friend Linda!
I have been on a wonderful email list called Support4Homeschool for years. Throughout the years I have established wonderful online friendships with women I have never met in "real life". I have had a chance to meet a few throughout the years and today was another one of the days. Even though I do not homeschool anymore I still stay on the list because of all the wonderful friends I have made there.
My friend Linda from SHS had asked me if I could meet her at the Bare Escentuals Boutique so I could look at some things with her. She lives about 1 1/2 hours from the mall and I lived about 50 minutes. I told her sure so we planned it for today.
When we first got to the mall we went directly to the BE Boutique. We looked around the whole store while discussing the different products.
Linda then wanted to look for a new blush. We had a wonderful Sales Assistent named Maria help us out. She was very informative and took her time with Linda. She also answered all our questions! Thanks Maria!
She found a color called Golden Gate that looked perfect on her!
Then she wanted to try a few eye colors. She first put on Root which looked great!
She also like Soul too.
I had a fun time watching the application!
If you live near a BE Boutique they have a WONDERFUL deal going on right now. For $50.00 you will received this adorable makeup case (which retails for $25.00) and a full size foundation (retails for $25.00), full Bisque (retails for $18.00, AOFC or Blush and two eye shadows (retails for $13.00 a piece). So, in makeup alone you are receiving $69.00 in product plus the case at $25.00 all for $50.00. This makes a great gift for someone or even for yourself. Linda ended up getting this and so did I. Carol, the manger, came over to say hello. They are having a great BE event this Sunday but I can't make it because of church. I asked her if she could try to do it again but maybe at a different time. She said she is considering maybe a Sunday night! That would work for me!
After we checked out at the Boutique we then headed to Norstrom's to the Cafe Bistro. We had a wonderful lunch and had a great time chatting.

Cool, How long is the sale for? That a package I would love to get. Especially because that's I wanted. Do you get to pick the colors? Also what is AOFC?

I am not sure how long the sale is one but it is a GREAT deal. You do get to pick your colors with all four items. You can pick either a foundation or a mineral veil (your choice and color), then you can pick either a Bisque, Blush, AOFC like Warmth, Glee, Faux Tan or the Radiances like PUre, Bare, Clear etc. . then you pick two different eye shadows . . your choice! Remember, if you go there to have them stamp you BE card. I had one filled that is how I got it for $10.00 off :-)
FUN! I love meeting fellow SHSers. I sure wish you lived close enough to go to BE with me.. wait.. I guess I'd have to go to you since we don't have any BE boutiques here (LOL)!

Like Cynthia, I wish we had a BE boutique anywhere near us! I have a few questions about BE and no one to ask... I don't know what to order or where to get it... Argh! Is there somewhere I can ask for some simple advice BEFORE I order? I figure if anyone would know, it'd be you! LOL!
