Labor Day Barbecue

Our friends Shannon and Joleen invited our family to come over for a barecue on Labor Day. Joleen is our Children's Director for our Children's Equipping Center at our church. She and about 100 of our kids had been at camp all weekend. The guest speakers for the camp were Lenny and Tracy Lagardia who are the Director's of IHOP's Children's Equipping Center. Also, coming from IHOP is Naomi Greaves who helps Lenny and Tracy out and also is one of the singers from The Call.
We all met at their home around 3:00 that afternoon. I could smell the steaks as soon as we got out of the car. Shannon use to own a steak restaurant years ago so he is an expert griller.
He also has a secret recipe for twice baked potatoes which he also use to make at his restaurant too. They were INCREDIBLE! Lenny and Tracy, Director's of IHOP's Children Equipping Center in KC

Me and Naomi
Shannon and Joleen's daughter Richelle married our former Children's pastor Leroy. They have two dear children Trinity who is not in this picture and Ryan. Leroy retired from the ministry and is now a successful businessman. I am glad they came over for dinner too. It was great catching up with them.
We had such a nice time and our stomachs were sooooooo full when we left. Thanks Shannon and Joleen for the awesome meal!
