Downtown Gatlinburg

By the time we got into Gatlinburg we were all starving so we found a place to eat. Afterwards, Ken, Lisa and the kids decided to go to the aquarium. Ken's parents, Carlos and I decided to take a walk through the shops instead.

As we walked up the streets and store to store we came upon the ski lift. The four of us decided this looked like fun and decided to take the ride.

I have never had the chance to snow ski so this was my first experience on a ski lift.
I was able to get a picture of Ralph and Celia behind us.

The interesting thing is that there are no seat belts just a big bar that goes over you.
We had a beautiful view as we went up the mountain.

When we got to the top we got off the lift so we could look around and take some pictures.

Then it was back down the mountain.

On the way back down we saw a little critter.

And we passed over a creek. After the ride we walked around the shop until Ken and Lisa were finished. We met up with them and then we stopped by the candy store to pick up some carmel apples . . . YUM!
We then went back to the hotel and decided to take a swim. It was a perfect end to a perfect day.

The next morning we packed up again and headed back to Florida. Our 10 day journey was almost over! A big thanks to my parents for taking care of the kids while we were gone! We love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
