Moving Alexia to Kansas City

Well, Sunday afternoon was D-Day . . .we loaded up all her belongings. It was so strange to see all her things being loaded into her car and our SUV. My mom and dad came in town to take care of Sierra and Landon.

With only three drivers - Carlos, me and Alexia we had to rotate drivers. I started off as a passenger with Alexia. Carlos follwed behind us in his Forerunner.
We got a late start but we needed to drive at least to Marrietta,GA which is just north of Atlanta. I enjoyed having the 7 1/2 hour ride with her.
We made it safely to Marrietta and then stopped to sleep at a hotel.
The next morning we took off around 10 am. My friend Angela had given us a gift certificate to Crackerbarrel for Christmas last year so we used that to have a great breakfast. We had a wonderful drive through Tenessee, Kentucky, Illinois and finally into Missouri.

The Ohio River
We finally made it to Kansas City around 11:30 Monday night.
This is where Alexia will be living for the next two years as she attends school at IHOP's The Call Institute. We love you Alexia and we are so proud of you. We are so excited for you to begin this new phase of your life. You will be in our prayers everyday and we will always be here for you! We love you! Dad and Mom
