Arriving At Camp

We arrived at the camp on Thursday. This camp is so beautiful and it is nestled in the mountains of northern Oregon. We were given the same cabin that we had last year!My bunk
Carlos's bunk . . . Landon and Sierra met so many friends last year that they decided to stay in their cabins.
They had "Kids Corner" set up again this year. They made two different projects that day.
Here the worship team is practicing. I should of taken a video so you could hear them. They sounded like angels. The evening services start at 7pm. The services are all in Russian.
But whether you sing in Russian or English you can feel His presence. Tonights speaker was an Evangelist from Sweden named Michael. He has traveled all over the world preaching the gospel. He preached in English and it was translated to Russian. My good friend Svetlana and her two precious kids Jessica and Mark.
It's hard to believe my friend Viera is now a grandmother. Here she is with her precious grandson!

I then ran into her nephew Sam . . . .let me just tell you this. . . .there is no one like Sam LOL Love you Sam!

The temperature really dropped once the sunset. It was in the low 50's and campfire's started popping up everywhere. What a nice change for us who came from hot humid Florida weather.

I bet it is quite a shock to the system to think of having campfires in the SUMMER (LOL).
