Sunday in the Big Apple

Sunday morning we got up early and headed to church. Every time we visit New York we always go to Time Square Church right in the heart of Time Square. It's an amazing theater and it's absolutely gorgeous. My camera never takes good pictures in there because of the lighting.

David Wilkerson bought the theater years ago when New York real estate was down. They now have packed services that are filled with white, black, Asian and Latin's all worshiping God together. It's a beautiful sight.
When Brenda use to live in New York City this is where she attended church.
My camera does not do this place justice. If you ever are in New York City on a Sunday morning visit Time Square Church. Their services begin at 10:00 am.
After church we took a taxi over to SOHO so we could grab some lunch. On the way we drove by Madison Square Garden.
There is an Italian restaurant we had lunch at last summer that was great so we decided to eat there again. Plus, the guys loved it because there was a HUGE big screen TV and they were able to watch the Yankee game. As you can see from this picture Carlos was very happy.
After lunch we left the guys watching the game and we hit the streets of SOHO looking for some great deals. As you can see from this picture . . . I am very happy! :-)
SOHO is such a great area. They have so many fun little boutiques.
Brenda picked up some real cute things at this store called Mango.
After shopping we went back and got the guys and then headed back to the hotel to get ready to leave for the airport. Before leaving for the airport we stopped back at SAJU for some dessert and coffee.
We had a great weekend but were sad to see the time had come to an end.The weather was perfect all weekend! We really couldn't have asked for a better time! Thanks John and Brenda for asking us to go with you guys!
