Mother's Day Breakfast
This morning an hour before school started Sierra's 2nd grade class had a special Mother's Day breakfast for all the moms. We arrived at 7:30 am and was welcomed by her teacher and a beautiful corsage that the kids made.
Here is the basket of corsages.
Each mom sat at the kids desks. Earlier in the week the kids made these beautiful placemats and all the other goodies you see here.
The made these cute little teacups and inside was a bag of tea.
She also wrote a poem and made a lady bug as a gift to me.
After breakfast she gave me a tour of their classroom and pointed out things she had made.
She also told me that she won a special award for math . . .
