Have You Ever Been Happy About A Toilet Paper Dispenser?

I bet you are wondering if you could ever be happy about toilet paper dispensers . . .well I am!! Let me tell you the story. As many of you know my husband and I Co-Direct a missions base in Central Florida. The Mission's Base consists of a Prayer Room, a Church, a Children's Equipping Center, a food pantry and a Bible School.

We have tried to be very careful with the ministries finances throughout the years so we are not quick to throw things on credit cards. A few months ago we moved our church into a new building that we are leasing. We had to actually build out the whole inside. Once we moved in we made a list of things we needed to add. One of those things were toilet paper dispensers for all the bathrooms. We decided to just hold off and use little baskets until we paid off the contruction debt. Well, we noticed that the rolls of paper were falling out of the baskets and into the toilet . . which means a big waste of paper and money.

So, last Sunday I made an announcement at church. I asked our sweet members to consider "sponsoring" a toilet paper dispenser. Yes, you heard me right . . .I know . . quite unusual for a church announcement but I knew there had to be 10 people that could sponsor a dispenser. Well, I have great news. Our generous members gave enough to purchase all the dispensers plus three cases of toilet paper. Plus, our dear friend Nathan was kind enough to install them all today. What a HUGE blessing!

And here is the finished product! Each one of these hold two jumbo size rolls. Can you tell I am so excited!?!
Also, we have two extra cases now on hand of extra paper rolls.
