Catching Up Once Again

Last week Carlos went to a conference in North Carolina at Morningstar. He went with a group of business men and women from our church. The conference was centered on evengelizing the "marketplace". They had a great time and came home with so much information.

The kids and I kept busy by doing on our weekly routines .. .school, playing and singing in the prayer room, praise practice. Thursday Sierra ended up getting sick for a few days and stayed home from school Thursday and Friday.

Friday night we had company come in for two days. They ended up going home Sunday morning. Sunday morning we had a great service. Lisa and the praise team did one of the songs that I play in the prayer room . . Undivided Heart. They did a great job!!!!! After church we went out to lunch with our friends Brenda and John, Nathan and Martha, Nathan and Kathleen and their kids and Ken and Lisa and their kids.

We had a great time catching up with John and Brenda. They just recently got home from a trip to Paris and London. Brenda had a couple shows on QVC London while we were there so they decided to make a vacation out of it.

We are going to New York City with them next month . We went last summer too so we decided yesterday we were going to make this an annual event. There is nothing like the Big Apple.Christian got cold so he crawled up on Nathan's lap and got all warm and snuggly. A few minutes later he fell asleep. The Four Studs . . . . I wish I would of had someone take a picture of the four girls. Next time . .

After lunch we had to speed home. We had a 4 pm leaders meeting at our house and then another meeting at 6pm. After the meeting Ken and Lisa stayed and hung out till around 11:30 and then we all called it a day.
