My Day!

After saying goodbye to Jordan I did some laundry. Taylor ended up getting sick last night and this morning and I wanted to wash the bed linens in his room. Also, I wanted to clean his room and bathroom really good. He is feeling 100% better now so hopefully it doesn't get passed on to anyone else.

I then went to see my friend Jody's new horse Sport. She lives on a beautiful ranch about 10 minutes from me.

This is Sport. Jody's friends father passed away and she inherited this horse from him.
She also has Tilly. The girl is her friends daughter who comes over to ride once a week. I can't remember this horses name.
This is Redman!

She also showed me this great shelter and stalls that her husband built.
They also made these paddocks recently too! It was great seeing her new baby and all the new work they have done on the ranch.BREAKING NEWS

THE WEATHERMAN HAS JUST STATED THAT A COLD FRONT IS COMING THROUGH FLORIDA ON FRIDAY. YES, YOU HEARD RIGHT A COLD FRONT . . . .AND HOW COLD WILL THE TEMPERATURES DROP TOO. . . . . . ..

A VERY COLD TEMPERATURE OF 85 - Whew! Now that's a cold front!! Not!!!!

Ok, back to blogging!

Tonight for dinner we had breakfast. Yes, French Toast was on the menu. I love breakfast for dinner every once in a while! After dinner, homework and baths Sierra, Landon and I played a game of SKIPBO. Alexia is still at Disney. She should be home soon and Taylor is resting up for tomorrow. I think he will be able to go back to school.

I spoke with Jordan on the phone tonight. He is back in Missouri safe and sound. I sent him home with a whole batch of my chocolate chip cookies. He is a happy camper! I am going to do some reading tonight. I am still working through Ocean's Apart by Karen Kingsbury!

You know I'm praying for your family. How fun it will be to watch his ministry blossom - sure gives you a feeling for your own parents - doesn't it?

Emily,

I just started reading Sunrise last night. Have you started that series yet?

I've not read Oceans Apart. Be sure and let us know how it is.

Sounds like a good day!

De'Etta, thanks so much for your prayers and your friendship :-) And you are right it has been pure joy to watch his ministry blossom and unfold. The best is yet to come!

Robin, I am currently 10th in line for Sunrise at our library . . I can hardly wait. My sister recommended Ocean's Apart to me. She read it while she was waiting for the Redemption series to come available. She said it was AWESOME.

Thanks Cindy! I love your new picture too!

Thanks Emily. I was wondering if anyone would notice I had updated my picture. My mom actually pointed out to me that I needed to update it. For some strange reason the other one from 2 years ago makes me look older than this one that was taken this year.... or maybe that's just my wishful thinking (LOL).
