Homecoming Parade

Today was the big Homecoming Parade. We stopped by the middle school and checked out Landon and Taylor and then headed to the high school to get in line for the parade. Alexia was all ready. We had to wait around 45 minutes before it began.

Lauren my niece is a cheerleader.

I am a proud Mama!
Daddy and his Princess
Homecoming Queen Class of 1984
Ok, this brought back so many memories. I just had to see what it felt like to sit in the car again!
This is Courtney who is also on the senior court.
And we're off!

We live in a small town so we were able to go right through the downtown.

The game is tonight at 7:30 and they will announce the winner at half time. What ever happens Alexia we are all proud of you and you will always be our Princess forever! We love you! Dad, Mom and all your brothers and sister!

What fun. That does bring back memories! I think there are a few things I miss about school and wish my kids could experience. We always had a GREAT time with the parades. I played in the marching band and I was a football cheerleader.

This whole homecoming process with
Alexia brought back so many memories. It was kind of fun to relive some of them! I forgot how fun it was to go to the football games and see the town coming out to support the team. I grew up in a very small town and now I am raising our kids in a small town. It was neat to see so many people from town dressed in their Orange and White.
