Wedding By The Lake

My cousin Patrick got married today to his new bride Tina. The wedding was held next to a lake at a beautiful place called Cypress Grove.

You may kiss the bride!

My cousin Nick, my cousin Patrick, my Aunt Vicki, my cousin Anne-Marie and my Mema :-)
My brother Andrew who is also a pastor performed the ceremony! He did a beautiful job!

Landon, Aunt Vicki and Mema

My Mema and my cousin Anne Marie. She is married to a wonderful officer in the Marines Michael. . I think he is a Lieutenant Captain. They were just relocated to Pennsylvania so it was an added treat that we were able to see her.

The temps were in the 90's today and inspite the wedding being at 5 pm it was stinking hot. I had no idea it was an outside wedding and reception or I would of never wore the pantsuit that i did. Thankfully it was cotton! They also let us into the house which thankfully had air. We waited inside until it was time for the reception which was held outside too.

My brother Andrew, his wife Heidi and their two girls Ansley Faith and Emily Grace!

Here the girls are with Landon and Sierra. Ansley decided she didn't want her picture taken :-)
But . . . . .then she changed her mind!

We then received word we were to head outside back into the heat for the reception.

My adorable handsome brother said grace before we ate dinner.I was so hot that my whole outfit was soaking wet.

Sierra tried to cool me off with this fan. It did help but she got tired a few minutes after she began.

Me and my precious Mema who is 88 year young!

After the kids finished eating they were the first on the dancefloor.

The many faces of Ansley Faith!
She loves her Paapa

She loves her Maama too!
My beautiful Sierra Michelle!
My lovely Mema and my beautiful Mom!
Hard to believe she is almost 90.

Thank you Lord for this incredible backdrop!

By the end of the evening the all the girls were getting pretty goofy! I wish my sweet nieces lived closer! We miss them!

It was great seeing my cousin's, my aunt and the rest of my family who I have not seen in awhile. My mom and grandmother are staying in town to take care of the kids while we are in Italy.

What a lovely family gathering. You entire family is so beautiful and obviously a real blessing to you. Your grandmother looks amazing! Very hard to believe she's almost 90. What is her secret for staying young and fit??

Thanks Kathy! Actually a small amount of my entire family was actually able to make it. My two sisters and their families were back home in Indiana.

Mema is unbelievable. Do you beleive she has never colored her hair . . .she just now has gray hairs starting to peak through. It's totally amazing. :-)

I have been slowly trying to catch up on blogs again but I got stuck in the "d's " on the blog roll so I haven't made it back over to yours yet. I miss reading all the good stuff over there :-)
