Shopping, Dinner and the Movies
This morning we ALL slept in. It was so nice not to have to wakeup early. When I finally wokeup around 9:45 am the house was still quiet so I grabbed my next Karen Kingsbury book called Forgiven. I read for close to an hour and then got up to start the day.
I asked Landon and Sierra if they wanted to go shopping, dinner and then to the movies. They liked the dinner and movie idea but frowned on the shopping. So, since Alexia was home I headed out by myself for the day for some shopping. I headed to ROSS and found some great accessories for the house and some clothes for Sierra, Landon and myself. I then headed home around 4:30 and had the kids get ready to go out. Taylor went to another friends house and Alexia went to a Prayer Seige with Bound For Life.
Landon and Sierra chose Chili's to eat. We only had about an hour to eat because we needed to get to the theater.

The kids wanted to see Mr. Beans Holiday. It was probably the most silliest movie I had ever seen but the kids liked it . . . I had to keep telling myself throughout the whole movie "It's all about the kids" LOL

After the movie we made a quick stop at Target and then gas station before we headed for home! When we got to the house Carlos was home from his leaders retreat. We have now all had showers and we are ready to head to sleep! I am going to try to get in a few minutes of reading before callling it a day!

Sounds like a lovely day, Emily!
Did you enjoy the movie? Grace said it was really funny, but Mr Bean is not really my cup of tea. {g}
Actually, I didn't get it . . but the kids seemed to like a lot. I just thought it was rather silly.
And to tell you the truth . . .I thought to myself "I can't believe we paid $18.00 to see this movie!" LOL
Oh, I love Mr. Bean. Next time I'll go with your kids, ok? It took me awhile to get used to, but sitting through it for hours on end with my dad and brother one weekend, I finally started to enjoy it.
He's better on video, though.
I guess I just wasn't expecting it to be filmed like that. It was cute and I did laugh but I guess I was expecting more talking in the movie :-) It was just something I needed to get use to.
I LOVE that kind of morning! That is an upside to kids getting older, LOL. I guess I'll plan on manitee if we go to Mr Bean!
