Quiet Labor Day

I had planned for the six of us to go to the beach today but it didn't workout. Taylor ended up staying the night last night at a friends house and then going to the movies today. Alexia was given a FREE ticket to Disney by one of her friends so she was there all day. Landon invited his friend to come over and swim and Carlos worked on his computer all day. That left Sierra and I to find something fun to do. We decided we both wanted to see the movie Hairspray. Alexia and I saw the play in New York on Broadway a few years ago and it was really good. So, Sierra and I got ready and off we headed to the theater. It was nice just hanging out with my baby girl. I know someday she will want her friends instead but for now I relish in the fact that she still thinks I am cool :-)

After the movie we did some shopping and then headed home. Tomorrow is a school day so she got her bath, did her reading and she is already in bed. I cleaned out my closet, did one load of laundry and read my Karen Kingsbury novel Reunion. I am more than halfway finished. I want to make sure I am done before the library calls with the next set of books!

I also spent some time on the computer reading camera reviews. I want to thank everyone who has commented or emailed me their suggestions. I am still undecided but need to make a decision this week!

I hope everyone had a safe and fun weekend. It's nice that this week will only be a four day week! The weekend will be here sooner than later!

It is SO nice to still have a young one at home to do things with! I'm SO NOT looking forward to the day when all of ours are grown up....

Well, the one good thing about them growing up is hopefully the grandbabies someday they will be bringing us :-)
