Heading to Italy
Tomorrow afternoon we leave for Italy. Some of you have asked if this is business or pleasure . .. it is actually both!
My good friend Brenda who lives in Orlando is getting married in Venice. She and her fiance John asked Carlos to perform the ceremony. He of course said yes so they are paying for our tickets, our hotel for the first 4 days and our food. The wedding is black tie so all the men including Carlos are wearing tuxedo's and the girls are all going to be in gowns.
The wedding is this Thursday in Venice. On Friday our friends Scott and Tammi and Carlos and I will head to Florence for 3 days and then to Rome for 3 days for some fun R and R.
We are going to bring our computers but we have no idea if we will have wireless internet the whole trip. The first hotel has on their website free wireless so I am going to try to blog some if I can. If you notice days going by with nothing appearing here that means that we could not get the wireless service that we need. We will return home on the 27th.
Please pray for our flights there and back . . I am not much of a flyer so please pray for peace and for our safety!
