- My name is Emily and I am mom to five wonderful blessings, and wife to my husband Carlos and "Gemma" to two adorable grandsons. I homeschooled the kids for 16 years. We have been in the ministry for over 25 years. My husband and I are the Executive Directors of the Orlando House of Prayer Missions Base. My favorite hobbies are musics, worship, cooking, baking and reading. I love to try new recipes because I get bored cooking the same things over and over. Organizing and decluttering is something I love to do. I can't stand clutter so I am constantly going through our home to eliminate what I can. I also love wearing Bare Escentuals. They are natural and when you wear them you can't feel them on your face.

Renee, do you have any suggestions for us to see while we are there. We will be in Venice, Rome and Florence. Wouldn't of that of been great if we could of met for lunch in Venice . . .now what a blogging moment that would of been :-)

We've never been to Florence.
We did go to Rome back in 2002 and my son w/dh went in February for his Confirmation retreat. They had priest "connections" so they got into places you can't normally see. Being Catholic we always go for an audience with the Pope but I imagine that wouldn't appeal to non-Catholics. You have to go to the Sistene (I can't spell at the moment and I'm being too lazy to check a dictionary to be sure that is correct)Chapel. Avoid touristy restaurants if you can - those are the ones that will lure you in from the streets with waiters holding English language menus. Definitely check out a guide book from the library or even invest in buying one to be sure you have a plan. WIthout a plan you'll either miss things or waste time running around in the wrong directions.
We are staying on the mainland and going into Venice. DD wants to go to the Doge Palace, we've been to St Mark's before but we'll probably go again. We have not done the gondola ride becuase it's rather pricey for 7 of us. WE are hoping to see lace and glass making this trip.
If we were really talented with photography, we'd take a pic at the same location and then merge them to look like we did meet :)
Renee - that is one thing we read about the restaurants . . to stay away from the touristy ones.
Also, I think that would be a hoot if we could pull off that picture LOL

Can you tell if it ate up any storage space?
De'Etta - I don't see anything that says it's eating up any space . .. I am thinking it might be unlimited. Let me know if you find out for sure!
