Special Day With My Friend Ruth

Last May when we were in Portland, my friend Lisa and I did a Bare Escentual makeover on our friend Ruth. Ruth, is one of our church intercessors and is the director of the "Fire By Night", which is our midnight -6 am prayer watch at house of prayer. She is like Anna in the Bible . . .she is called to pray.

Well, about a month or so ago the Lord put on my heart to buy Ruth a BE Starter Kit. We have been so busy that I haven't had a chance to do that. So, last week I asked her if I could take her somewhere on Monday (today). She said yes so I met her at our church around 11 am today. She had no idea where we were going.

When I told her where we were going she got excited . . .I wanted her to get color matched at a BE Boutique to make sure we were getting her the right color foundation.

We arrived at the boutique and we were lucky that there were not that many people there. The Sales Assistant Christina helped Ruth in choosing the right color.
Ruth wanted a very natural look and I think she did a great job. We found out that she is a Medium Tan which just happened to be my guess of what she was. So, I picked up the starter kit for her so she is all set to go with the basics.
We then headed to Ruby Tuesday for lunch. I ended up ordering an appetizer of their Southwestern Eggrolls . . .they were really good!
After lunch we ran to Target so I could get MORE school supplies and then it was back to the church. It was a wonderful day and thank you Ruth for letting me bless you and for hanging out with me for the day! May the Lord bless you for all you do and for giving your life to praying!
