Sierra's Meet the Teacher and my Deal of the Day

My parents are in town until Sunday for a HUGE "Mayor" conference out at one of the big hotels. We were suppose to meet my mom today to go shopping but due to a 2:30 dentist appt for Taylor we decided to wait until tomorrow.

After Taylor's appt., I dropped him off at home and Sierra and I headed to her elementary school for her "Meet the Teacher". She was so excited . .. she loves school. Each year that she has started school I pray the whole summer that the Lord will put her with the right teacher and it has been amazing how He has done just that. Her Kinder and 1 st grade teachers were amazing! They were an answer to prayer . .. so we pray that her 2nd grade teacher will just that too!

Here we are at the school waiting for Carlos to arrive. He was coming straight from the office!

Well, it looks like the Lord answered our prayers once again. She is just wonderful and afterwards I talked to many of my friends who have children older than Sierra and each time I mentioned her teachers name . . . they said we were going to just love her! Yea! Thank you Lord!
Earlier today I ran into this store with Sierra and I was shocked to find an amazingly great deal.
This lamp was marked down to $10.00 . . . yes $10.00!!!! I couldn't believe it. I actually bought two . .. one for each side of our bed.

This wall hanging . . .was a little bit more but a great deal too.
This lamp was also clearanced to $10.00 . .. this was my lucky day!

After dinner Carlos and I picked up the garage a little bit. It had got a little to messy for my liking. Also, I got the kids in bed early tonight because tomorrow morning is Taylor and Landon's "meet the teacher"
