Off To Work They Go!
Last night (Tuesday night) as I was reading Sierra a devotional before she went to bed she leaned and whispered to me, "Mommy, please wake me up tomorrow at 7 am . . I want to go to the prayer meeting with Daddy and then I want to go to work with him." I said, "Are you sure, that is awfully early?" She said, "Yes!" So, I set the alarm and got her up this morning. They were on the road by 7:30 am.
Today was my day to take Taylor to get his haircut and to take him school shopping. On our way out I first stopped at Lisa's to feed the fish.
Then it off to grab some lunch. I let Taylor pick . .. .he chose .............................see below!
We then headed to his barber where there was a LONG wait. I dropped him off and then told him to call me when he was finished. I then headed to ROSS and just leisurely walked through the whole store. I had two birthday presents I needed to get, plus I found some great tennis shoes for Landon and few fun things for the house.
We headed home around 5:30 and I found Landon in my room playing his PSP. Carlos had called me earlier saying he wanted to take me on a dinner date so I went ahead and started dinner for the kids.
Carlos got home with Sierra . . .the kids had dinner and then we headed to Chili's . . .I love their chips and salsa and we always split their chicken fajita's. Yum! Then we made a Wal-mart run and headed back home.
I am getting ready to read Sierra's devotional to her and then I am going to do some reading too!

I'm sure dad and dd had a special day together. Are you all ready for school now?
Well, we have Sierra's "meet the teacher" today from 4-6pm and the boys have theirs tomorrow morning from 10-12. We then will buy school supplies this weekend and THEN we should be ready to go. The only thing I am behind on is their physicals . .. Taylor has his dentist appt today . .so that just leaves Alexia . .she isn't due until next month.
The girls have their physicals on the 29th . .. the boys not until October . . we are on waitlist to get them in earlier. Next year . .I need to remember to schedule them in May for sometime in the summer :-)
