This morning Carlos preached sitting down . . . .......
Well, not the whole time but he was trying to make a point.
He was saying that the easiest way to get closer to God or to see His presence is to just sit and read His Word and pray. He reference the 16th chapter of Exodus and the 11th chapter of Numbers. These scriptures talks about how the Israelites were fed daily manna but today Jesus is our daily manna!
After church I was on my way to my car and Lisa shouted out to me . . .Em . . .grab your camera and come back inside. I then found out that our good friends Kevin and Maria are expecting a baby. She is 3 months pregnant and due in February! Yea!!! Congratulations!
Also, our friends Tom and Kawai let me know today that they are moving out to the country just 10 minutes from our house! We can't wait until you all are living here! Congratulations!
After church a whole bunch of us headed to Franco's for lunch. Then we headed home . . . we were having a leaders meeting at our house tonight. When I got home I straightened up the downstairs, cleaned the bathroom and then headed to the grocery to get snacks and drinks. Everyone showed up around 6pm . . .it was great meeting with all our staff and leaders . . it had been awhile since we all met. Everyone was gone by 10:30 pm . .except we asked for Meraly to let her two kids spend the night at our house. . she agreed so Landon and Sierra are so happy to have them over tonight 
By the time I remembered to take a picture of the kids . . . she was already asleep :-)
. . .after cleaning up the kitchen we all called it a night. Tomorrow is my last day working over at Natalie's house. We are almost finished decluttering and organizing . . we should be done by tomorrow.

And... then you'll come to my house to declutter and reorganize, right? We ended up buying 3 rooms of new furniture last week and now I have a complete disaster in almost every room in the house! UGH... and school should start next week or at least in 2 weeks.. I'm no where near ready!

I wish you lived closer, too. I'm almost DESPERATE for help..... that's why I'm up so late - working and reading a few blogs here and there inbetween waiting for things on the computer.
