Homeroom Mom Again!
Today I headed back to Sierra's school to volunteer in the classroom again. Her teacher let me know that she assigned me to be the Room Mother for her class. Yea!!!! That makes 3 years in a row that I have been Sierra's Room Mother!
I love volunteering at the school. I enjoy getting to see and spend some time with Sierra too!

Oh, I loved helping out in the classroom when Holly was in full and part time ps! I liked getting to know the teacher better, to know the kids, and just to be a presence in general!
I love it too. Now, that I am not homeschooling . . volunteering makes me feel like I still have a part of her school life and for all the reasons you stated too!
FUN! If we had chosen the public school route, I would have been a very actively involved parent as well.
Cindy - I am so glad I have had this opportunity to volunteer . . .so far we have had great teacher that love the parental involvement!
