Busy Tuesday

Today was cleaning day at the church and since my partner in crime . . LISA . . is enjoying a week of luxury in the Domincan Republic . . I had to clean by myself today. I then had the great idea of taking Sierra with me to help! She agreed . . . thank goodness.

I was impressed at how well she could mop the floors!

She even mops with a smile on her face!

Don't let anyone ever tell you that pastorswives don't clean the toilets . . . this one does :-) I am surprised to see a smile on my face because I have to admit . . .this particular comode was disgusting today! Yuck! I guess I CHOSE to be JOYFUL in EVERYTHING :-)

After we cleaned we decided to mess around a little bit. Sierra and I were the only ones at the church at this time. She was pretending to be the praise and worship leader.

This is the closest I will ever come to preaching! LOL

Many don't know this about me but I took piano lessons for 7 years back when I was a youngin. The Lord was dealing with me about this while I was in Kansas City. He told me not to let my talent go to waste . . . so . .. I might need to start practicing!
Later on this evening I went to spend some time with my niece Selena! Oh she is just so cute !!!
As you can see from this picture . . . .this little girl brings me so much JOY! The picture of Selena didn't come out that is why I had to cut it out . .. her eyes were closed!
She is growing up so fast. She just recently left the crib for a Big Girl Bed! Way to go Selena! Aunt Emmy LOVES YOU!

I usually spend one day a week with her but since we were gone so much this summer I didn't have the days available like I normally do. She is very excited because next week my kids start school and things will get back to normal which means Aunt Emmy and Selena time again!

Oh Emily, what a sweet girl to willingly help with a smile on her face. Even in the midst of dirty work, you were making memories with your girl!
