Birthday Party, Movies and more

Most of today was very quiet. Carlos was in meetings all day until 4:30. I took this opportunity during the day to read read read! I am almost done with the book I am reading. I hope to be finished by tomorrow.

Around 5 pm tonight we headed to our nephews first birthday party. They had face painting there . . . this is Sierra' favorite thing to do . . .have her face painted.

I noticed today while watching all the kids how big she is getting. I rememeber like it was yesterday when she was the one in the cute little dress at the birthday party. Today she just seemed like she had grown up so quickly . . even though she is only 7 . . . I guess it was being around all the 1 2 and 3 year old kids this evening.
After the party I headed home for awhile. Carlos was going to study for tomorrows sermon and I was going to rest for awhile because I had a little headache. Lisa ended up getting a hold of me and invited me over for Coffee and Tylenol :-) So, I headed over there and hung out with them for awhile. While we were hanging out in Ava's room I was shocked to see that she already knows how to pull herself up.
She is such a big girl :-) Good job Ava!
After the kids went to bed Lisa and I watched a movie she had rented through Netflix and then I headed home around midnight. I am not too tired so I am going to try to read myself to sleep!

Oh, by the way, my sister Stephanie is totally hooked on the Karen Kingsbury Redemption series. She keeps text messaging me and calling me letting me!!! I told you they were good Steph!
