Saturday in New York City - Part 1

Around 10 am we met downstairs and then went for breakfast at this wonderful diner. We then all hopped in a taxi and the guys dropped us off at Madison Avenue to do some shopping. The guys then took the taxi back to Yankee Stadium for the 1:00 game. Our first stop was the Herve Leger boutique. This is one of Brenda's favorite designer's.
She immediately found 3 dresses that were on the sale rack that she wanted to try on. So, we headed downstairs to the fitting room area. The sales clerk name was Kendall and he remembered Brenda from past visits. I tried to get a picture of him but he was kind of shy about it.

Brenda has a lot of events she has to attend due to her line of business so these dresses will come in handy.
It was then off to the David Yurman jewlery store. Brenda wanted to see a new bridal set that he just put out. Here she is trying on the set. I have to admit . . .
It was gorgeous but not half as gorgeous as the one that John gave her. I wish I would of taken a picture of her ring! It is so beautiful!

We then took the subway to Canal Street where we got in some bargain shopping!

After doing some shopping we headed back to Time Square to get some show tickets. At the Marriott Marquis hotel they have a place where you can get 50% off tickets to all the shows that still have seats left. We were able to get tickets to The Drowsy Chaperone. I believe it won many Tony Awards.
We then headed back to the hotel to rest for a little bit and then got ready for the show and dinner!
