Pray For Great Britain - Pray for America!
Landon and Sierra had been so patient with me the last few days while I was sick so last night I surprised them and we went out for a treat. We ran into 7-11 and they each got a big Slurpee and some pretzels . . .I needed a Diet Coke . . . sorry mom but it just tasted good! Today we woke to the news of the terrible car bombing in Scotland. We need to pray for Great Britain . . . pray that any other plans to bring terrorism to that country is stopped before any other injuries happen. Pray for America that no terrorism touch our borders. Also, pray for the 200,000 Christians that will be traveling to Nashville on the 7th of this coming week for The CALL . Pray that any plans to bring any attacks during that time will be stopped before hand. Pray for the safety of all everywhere!!!!
Well, here we go again. I have been packing and getting ready all day. Landon, Sierra and I are leaving for Cincinnati tomorrow evening. We are driving up to join my cousins, my sisters, my parents and my aunt and uncle and all the rest of their families for a big 4th of July party. Please pray for our safety as I drive this along with the two little ones. We will be staying in Cincinnati until the morning of the 5th and then driving to Nashville to meet Carlos, Jordan and Alexia for 7/7/07 The Call. I will be bringing Taylor with me as my sister will be bringing him to Cincinnati. I am going to be stopping at a hotel tomorrow night so I will try to post something then if I am not too tired. If not, I won't be back on until Monday!
This afternoon I took a break from packing. Carlos took Landon and Sierra bowling and then went to run a few errands for our trip. Lisa and Christian came over to swim. It was a nice break after working so hard all day. After swimming she invited us over for dinner . . .Carlos couldn't go because he was studying and Landon and Sierra were in the middle of something so I headed over. She made the most incredible sandwiches called Po-Girls . . I think that is what they are called. They have shredded chicken and sauted onions with a special sauce poured on top. Also, a great Greek Salad to go with it . . . she knows I have practically cleaned out our fridge since we are getting ready to head out again. I forgot to bring my camera . . .I wanted to take a picture. Thanks Lisa for feeding my stomach again! Love ya Girl!

I rarely watch any news so I hadn't heard of these threats and the bombing. Praying for safe travels for you and your family.
Thanks Cynthia . . .we just got checked into a hotel after driving until 12:30 am this morning . . now if I can just get to sleep :-)
Just catching up with your blog, Emily. I couldn't visit it for a while, because every time I did it froze my computer. Don't know why!
Thanks for your prayers!
Dorothy - I think I post too many pictures and that causes the freeze :-)
Emily, I'm glad you are feeling better. ...God's timing for your trip.
Kristine . . . I was a little nervous that I would still be stick or that one of the kids would get it but like you said . . God's timing is perfect!
