The Movies
Today it was soooooooooo hot that I told the kids let's go the movie and then go out to eat. They loved the idea so we headed to the theater to see Transformers . . .Carlos and the older kids had already seen this and said it was incredible.
Well, they forgot to tell me that it might not be the best movie for Sierra. She spent half the movie in the side of my arm :-) There were only a few scarey parts but she made it through.
We then stopped at Marshalls to do some shopping. I needed to buy a new piece of luggage for my trip to New York this weekend! Then we went to Red Lobster for dinner with a gift certificate that we had got for Christmas this past December!
This evening I went to the gym with Lisa for about an hour and then it was home to get the house picked up and ready for my parents who are coming in tomorrow to take care of the kids while I go to New York.
I talked to Carlos tonight and he said he received many phone calls and emails from all of you wishing him a Happy Birthday. He said he couldn't believe how many messages he received. It made him feel so special!
Well, I am going to sign off for now. Lisa and I are attempting to start reading more. She just gave me a book that she just read called Redemption so I am going to get started on that!

Carlos is spesial, for us now, we learned a lot of stuff from him, he is now like a teacher from God...Thats so awesome....

Yes, I can't wait to start it. I tried so hard to finish my other book last night but I still have a few more pages to go. My friends Lisa said the book was so good!

YIKES. I don't think I would like that movie. I've seen the previews and it looked scary to me. My speed is something like Ratatouille (LOL) although I did tolerate Pirates of the Caribbean pretty well.
Cindy - It wasn't my type of movie either but Carlos and the older kids raved about it . . so Landon wanted to see it . . .I should of known better not to have taken Sierra . . .but it really wasn't too scarey . . it was done with kind of a comedic twist.
