Jordan and the Birthday Chair!
As you know the kids always wakeup to their birthday chair. Normally, I will make them the breakfast of their choice but Carlos' mom called yesterday and asked Jordan to come over for breakfast today. So, before he left he sat down for our traditional morning picture!
He opened his breakfast gift. He asked for and received 6 polo shirts in all different colors!
Here he is opening his lunch present. He said he needed new jeans so we gave him a gift certificate to Aeropostle!
Before we left to go out for his birthday dinner he opened his last present from us . . .an American Eagle shirt and a whopping big check!
He also received money from my mom and dad and a lovely card that Sierra wrote for him. I am to tired right now but tomorrow I will post the letter. It was so sweet.

Like you, we do big presents on birthdays. It's definitely "their" day to be celebrated. That's why for Christmas, our children only get three smaller gifts. Helps us put the emphasis on "who's" birthday it really is.
