Spa Day and Bare Escentual Makeovers
On Friday night my computer decided to die . .. also Carlos was leaving to preach in Virginia the next morning so I was left with NO Computer. Thankfully Ken and Lisa let me borrow their computer to post Saturday's blog. UPDATE: Also, a big thank you to Kevin for letting me borrow his laptop until I can get another computer this week. Thanks Kev!!!
Saturday morning some of the ladies from our church got together for a spa day. The morning started by meeting at a hotel that connects to the mall for breakfast. They had a wonderful breakfast buffet that was filled with so many good things.
After breakfast we all had appointments at a day spa. We could pick from many a pedicure and manicure, a manicure and massage or a facial. Lisa and I opted for the pedicure and manicure.
Thanks to Lisa . . . she took this wonderful picture of my feet :-)
and to be fair . . . here are her feet :-)While we were having our pedicures I was totally surprised by running into my sister in law Heidi and her sister. They live about 2 hours from where we were at so you don't know how surprised I was to see them walk in the spa. They were here for the weekend with their other sister Audrey and some of her friends.
After my pedicure they started on my manicure! I doubt it will last long . . .I am too rough on my nails.
We had the best time and we hope to do it all again soon!

After the spa, we all had appointments with Bare Escentuals for makeovers.Lisa and I were like two kids in a candy store looking at all the fun colors. Our friend Janice had her makeover first. Lisa and I were watching everything the sales assistant did. We learned so much by watching the application in person.Janice before. . . Janice after. . . Next it was Lisa . .. here is her before. This is her after photo . . for some reason my flash kept lighting up in her face. We tried to take it 3 times with the same light in her face . . . in person her makeup was incredible!!!!!My before..My after Bonnie's BeforeBonnie's afterKarla and Kisez's after!
While we were at Bare Escentuals we ran into my sister in law again and her two sister's. They are all Bare Escentual addicts too :-)

Everything looks AWESOME! I'm looking forward to a day of pampering, myself. After graduation and our trip out to Denver I've scheduled a day long spa treatment and I can hardly wait!
Cindy - it was such a nice day . .. and oh so relaxing. You will so enjoy it!
Emily - what was the occasion?? Looks like such a fun time. Is this is an annual thing? Is the spa near by? Pampering and make-up and yummy food, sounds lovely!
That looked like a fun and enjoyable day!!
I love the before and after shots.
Laura
Kathy - it was actually our Women's group from church. They try to plan something once a month. The spa was about 45 minutes away.
Thanks Laura!
Ooooh, that looks lovely...I bet you all felt like a million dollars.
