An Exciting End To Wednesday
Today Lisa and I ended up cleaning the church and office buildings. We went for lunch at our ritual restaurant .. . Nick's restaurant. Nick was in today and we had a nice chat with him! Lisa did mention a few times that she felt nauseous . . .I told her . . . maybe you are pregnant . . she said she didn't think so.
After lunch we headed back to the church office to hangout for a little bit. We found out some exciting news while we were there but I can't share it on the blog until Sunday! Sorry everyone . . .but it's a secret :-)
I headed home around 5 pm . . . Alexia was the only one at home. Sierra was at Carlos' parents house, Landon had went home with a friend, Taylor was at his cousin's house and Jordan was at work. Around 6 I went to pick up Landon. After we got home I warmed up all the leftover's from last nights dinner . . .it was even better the next day!
Lisa called after dinner and wanted to walk . . so I headed over there around 7:30. We finished walking around 9 pm. I then was going to head home to watch American Idol but as I was walking out she said . .let's go to Target and get a pregnancy test . . .she was still very nauseous. So, we DVR'd the show and we were off to Target. On the way there we kept imagining how she would feel if the test was positive . . .she feels very complete with the three blessings she has but would love another if God would give her one. She started to get nervous . . . so we headed right to the test and then after a little looking around she went and purchased it.
I then said, "Let's not wait . . let's just do the test in the Target restroom" and that is what we did. It seemed to be the longest 2 minutes . . she did the test and then passed it under the door to me so I could lay it flat on the counter. We then started timing the 2 minutes.
The lines started to show up . . our hearts started beating fast . . I pulled the directions out so we could match up the lines . . . and then the results came in . . . . . .
When we got the results we were both kind of bummed. I had started getting excited about another baby on the scene and Lisa LOVES being pregnant like I do . . .but in her heart of hearts she was relieved that it was negative. It did leave for an exciting night.
We then headed to get some coffee and then went home to watch American Idol. Carlos ended up coming over. I headed home around 11 . . .Carlos is still there and it's after midnight.

You are a good friend to walk through life with Lisa. :) I know EXACTLY how she felt. It's exciting to be pregnant but does throw everything into a bit of a whirlwind.
I love the way you and Carlos are both close with this sweet couple. So nice to have friends near by. Blessed!!
Lisa is fun to have around . . she is just like a sister to me. . . my sisters who live in Indiana live 2 miles apart from each . . . I miss them tremendously . . if they lived here I know we would see each other everyday. I am so thankful for Lisa because she fills such a void that I feel from not having my sister's nearby!
The best part is that Lisa's husband Ken is one of Carlos' best friends . . . so it is the best of both worlds!
