Congratulations Steph - April's Big Kahuna

Congraulations to my sister Stephanie! She is April's Big Kahuna. Stephanie found the most money this month! In fact, while on vacation she found some BIG MONEY! Here is her story!

alright...........here is my story.........while we were in San Antonio, we would go work out every day....I really liked this one bike that they had there, but when I went to go use it, someone else was on it...not wanting to just sit and wait, I decided to use the eliptical machine. I put my water bottle into the cup holder, did a great two mile work out and then got up to switch to the bike....when i picked up my water bottle there was a $20.00 bill stuck to the bottem of my bottle.....

so...........I am going to count $10.00 of it for money finders, so that I don't pull that far ahead of everyone....................but glad to say that I BEAT my little brother...........

sorry Andrew....better luck this month..............

ps...............i did ride three more miles on the bike

Emily - this is hysterical! How did you all come up with this idea? How many people "play?" Neat way to keep in touch, have a little competition, and return the money to charity and bless others. Fun!!!

Actually I guess I need to give the credit to my parents. Growing up it was a joke . . .they always told us to walk with our heads looking down because that way we would find loose change. So, through all these years my immediate family have made it a habit.

It wasn't until a year ago when Carlos and I, Ken and Lisa and my sister Steph and her husband Todd were all in Las Vegas. Steph and I would started looking for money while we walked . . .then Lisa joined in . . .Steph then said that we should have a contest to see who could find the most money by the end our trip. That is what birthed The MoneyFinders :-) After we got home we decided to start May 1st the Money Finders Group. We invited everyone in our families and inlaw families to play. We did include Ken and Lisa because they are practically family :-)

What is neat about this whole thing is that we are communicating daily with many family members that we might normally only talk to once or so a year. Plus, it's amazing to see where everyone finds their money.

Last year my sister's brother in law found $50.00 at a Major League Baseball game . . .it was so fun and thrilling to see him find it!

The best thing ALMOST all the money goes to charity!
