Celebrating Motherhood!

Growing up I always dreamed of becoming a mother. While many of my friends were talking about their careers I was always talking about becoming a wife and a mother. In my "dreams" I always thought I would have four children just like my parents did but the Lord had other plans for me. After finding my Prince Charming . . . the babies began to arrive. First there was Jordan! He was a surprise because we had only been married 5 months when I found out I was pregnant with him. I was so nervous but excited too. My dream was coming true! Here is Jordan and I when he was about 18 months old.
Then baby number two arrived 23 months after I had Jordan. We thought she was going to come out dark hair and dark eyes but this platinum hair blue eyed baby popped out. I still gave her a Greek name . . .Alexia. Three years later we were blessed with Taylor.
Then 3 1/2 years later along came Landon. This picture was taken on top of the World Trade Center back in 1996. At this point we thought we were done having babies . . .

Little did we know that the Lord had one more special blessing coming our way. 4 years later Sierra made her arrival.

It has been a joy to be a mother. I had two dreams in my life . . . to marry the love of my life and to become a mom. The Lord blessed me with the most wonderful caring husband and he blessed the two of us with the most wonderful 5 blessings!

Emily, I like how you did the "before" and "after" pic with each of your kids! I get a kick out of seeing how you change in each picture too, lol! It makes me think of how my hair changed over those years too!
