Sunday Barbecue!
After church we headed to Ken and Lisa's for a BBQ. Ken's parents, Bonnie and Javier, Mark and some new friends Yvonne and Joe all came over too! Here is our master griller - KEN!

Thanks Ken and Lisa for a great afternoon! Landon, Sierra and I had a great time! Carlos and Jordan have been in Portland,Oregon preaching for about 5 days. They are due to come home tomorrow night. Alexia stayed the weekend at her cousin's house and Taylor went to an AAU basketball game. Tomorrow all of my family should be under one roof.
Lisa just called and she is coming over in 20 minutes . . . all her company just left so hopefully we will be able to get a good walk in tonight. I am kind of tired . .. Lisa and I watched a movie last night at her house and we didn't get it started until almost 10:30. By the time I got home it was close to 1 am. I hope to make it to bed early tonight!

Looks like a fun time. What movie did you watch? Anything good? Is Lisa (and family) all moved in?? Do they love their new house?
How is the preaching going in Portland? They are out our way. Fun! Our pastor said that Oregon and Washington are the least churched states in the whole US. Isn't that sad!!
I know you're eager to have the whole family back home again.
For many years Carlos has preached at Ukrainian and Russian churches. He has built a strong relationship with them. Usually they bring him in once year but over the six months or so they have been bringing him in at least every other month. This is the first time Jordan has gone with him and the first time Jordan has preached a Sunday morning service.
I will get more details tonight when they come home but they said it was going great!
In fact, next month they are headed back but this time I am going to go too!
Also, Ken and Lisa have been settle in their house since the end of February! They do love it and we are all enjoying them living right down the street.
The movie ended up being disappointing . . I think I better leave it at that. We had to do a lot of fast forwarding.
