Our Double Date with Brenda and John

My very good friend Brenda has been trying to get the four of us together for so long. Due to our schedules it has been a long while since we have been able to get together. We ended up finally double dating on Saturday evening. She and her fiance John bought a house and they are in the process of remodeling it so it will be ready to move in when they get married in September. Their house if about 70% finished. When they bought it the whole thing needed to be redone . . and I mean redone. Here are a few pictures of the house and the renovation update.

They have new front doors on order. They are going to be rod iron. The foyer ceiling. She and John actually faux painted this. The Living RoomLooking into the family room.

After looking at all the house updates. We headed to their country club where we had a lovely buffet.
After dinner on the 18th hole of the golf course the Philharmonic put on a concert. John and Brenda

As the sun was setting the music began. It was a beautiful evening!
Thanks John and Brenda for a fun evening! Your home is absolutely gorgeous. You all have done a wonderful job renovating it!

We love to go to the concerts in the park here. I can't even imagine how heavenly it would be to listen to some nice orchestra music with a wonderful view like you all have!

Cindy - it was heavenly! The setting, the weather and the music was incredible! If there was a negative about the evening . . .it was chilly . . yes chilly. We were all wrapped up in towels by the end of the evening! :-)

Giselle- it was my first time to ever hear the Philharmonic . . . they were great!
