Our day on the 4th!

I didn't sleep good the night before our anniversary. I kept waking up and waking up. After the kids went to school I came home and almost went back to bed but I decided to tackle the laundry.

I then spent a few hours going through pictures so that I could post the blog I did yesterday. It was fun going back through the years and thinking about all the good times we have had.

Finally in the late afternoon I fell asleep. I was awaken by a call from Carlos. He was coming home early and wanted to go out. I was still tired and actually just felt like staying home.

After he got home we decided just to eat dinner at home and then we were going to go out for coffee and ice cream. By the time we helped the kids with their homework and got Sierra in bed . . it was 8:00.

I told him let's skip going out and just go for a walk. We had just walked out the door when Lisa called and said she, Ken and the kids and our other friends George and Janice and their boys were on their way over and they all wanted to walk too. So, that is what we did :-) It was a beautiful night . .there was a cool breeze and it was just perfect for a 2 mile walk :-)

After we all got back to my house we had DVR'd American Idol so we all came in to watch it. I am so glad we just hung out at home! It was a nice relaxing night with family and friends :-)

I wish I would of had my camera downstairs because while we were watching American Idol . . . Carlos was holding Kaitlyn . . she ended up fallling asleep his lap. I had Ava on my lap and Christian was in the middle of us. I might need to buy an extra camera . . one for upstairs and one for downstairs :-)

This morning I did wakeup with a headache so I am going to take it easy today! The kids start their spring break tonight. They are off tomorrow and all next week! Well, I am off to take Taylor to school.
