Monday and Tuesday . .

I have been so busy the last few days I didn't have a chance to post yesterday. The kids are on spring break this week so my older four kids all are finding fun things to do with their friends and cousins. When we woke up Monday it was just me, Sierra and Carlos. We all got ready and then headed up to the church so I could do some work and so Carlos could get things ready to go. He, Ken and Taylor are heading to North Carolina on business. (Taylor decided to go for the ride since he was on spring break)

When it was time for lunch Carlos was still busy so I decided to take Sierra on a mommy/daughter lunch date. We headed to our friend's Nick's restaurant. We had a great time chatting and spending time together! We were going to go shopping for bathing suits but it was FREEZING and we were in no mood to try on bathing suits! It actually got in the 40's last night.
We ended up all three staying at the office late. Carlos, Ken and Taylor had plans to leave around 11:00 that night. So, we eventually we all headed home and they got their stuff all loaded in the car. I decided to drive over to Lisa's in my van when they went to pick up Ken so I could say goodbye as they left. Jordan was home so he put Sierra to bed for me.
We got to Ken and Lisa's a little after 11 pm. They loaded up Ken's luggage and then we all said our goodbye's. I am pretty use to Carlos leaving a lot because he travels all over the world preaching at different places but Lisa is definitly not use to it. We watched out the window as our men and my one baby drove away. We prayed over them and asked the Lord to protect them as they drove to North Carolina. I then got ready to leave and Lisa said, "Don't go yet!" I told her I would stay for a little bit. Well, about an hour and half later she said . . . just stay over! I called Jordan and he said Sierra was sleeping so I ended up staying the night over there. The next morning, Kaitlyn came in the room and said, "Ebby, what you are doing here?". :-) I then got up and helped Lisa get the kids dressed and then headed home.
I had to hurry and get dressed because I had an appt. at 10:40 am to test a new product that is coming out. It's great because for 15 minutes of my time I get $10.00! After that I headed to the office meet Lisa to clean. We finished up around 1:30 and then I needed to head home. Alexia was watching Sierra and she needed to leave to go to work. I had just been home for about an hour and I got a call from Selena's mom Deanna - she asked if I could come over and help her with her taxes. I told her no problem . . so Sierra and I headed over there around 5:00. Deanna's mom Della is remodeling their home so their computer is down . I brought my laptop over because she wanted to file online. Here I am working on her taxes. She had all the information ready to go I just had to figure out where to go and where to put everything. After about an hour I finally had everything inputted and sent on to the IRS.
While we were working on her taxes Sierra and Selena had a blast playing in her room. Selena was laughing and giggling so hard when I took this picture she ended up with her eyes closed. Deanna had never seen my blog so here she is going through it for the first time! She got a kick out of seeing Carlos' baby pictures and all the pictures of Selena! We ended up leaving their house around 7:45 pm. We are now home and it's still just me and Sierra. Jordan and Alexia should be home soon from work. Landon just called and he wants to stay at his cousin's house again. Alexia is suppose to spend the night over at Lisa's so thank goodness Jordan will be here with me and Sierra tonight!

American Idol just got over so I am going to go and get ready for bed. I am tired and hopefully can get to bed early!

Busy day! You are a good friend to go and help with taxes. I like the way you brought your laptop and actually finished!! That's the best part. I'm a good starter but not so good of a finisher. Ha!

It is hard to have the men folks off, even if they are serving the Lord. It's so exciting to see your son involved in the ministry as well. Wow! They do grow up, don't they.

Kathy - it seems like all days lately have been busy. I must have been very tired because I didn't wakeup until 10:00 am this morning. Sierra slept until 10 am too.

Her taxes were pretty easy. We used the easy form since she was deducting anything. I knew if I didn't finish them right then I might not ever :-)

I talked to Carlos and Taylor a little bit ago. Things are going well. They are due back late late Thursday night! I am so looking forward to their return!
