Happy Spring?
My sister Michelle sent me this photo that she had taken a few days ago in the town she lives in. She wonders "Where is spring?" I think most of the United States wondered the same thing
Today I went horsebackriding and I forgot my camera. I wish I would of had it because the cactus were blooming so beautiful.
After I got home from riding I called Selena's mom to see how she was doing . She has been staying with her mom since coming out of the women's center. She had all her belonging's on her mom's backporch and I knew it was bothering her having her stuff everywhere so I asked her if she wanted help going through her stuff. She said yes so I headed on over there around 4 pm.
She had soooooooo many clothes . . . it took us about 2 hours to go through everything but we ended up with 3 HUGE black garbage bags of clothes to donate to the thrift store. We ended up with one nice pile of clothes for her to keep. She felt so much better and felt like a huge weight was lifted off of her.
After leaving their house around 7 pm, I then headed back home. Lisa called and said they were going to go out to eat and the run some errands. She asked if I wanted to meet them at the bookstore for coffee. So, I took a shower, changed and then headed out to run an errand myself and then I headed to the bookstore. After a great cup of coffee (thanks Ken for treating me) and some good conversation I headed back home. About 45 minutes after I got home Lisa ended up coming over to hangout for awhile. Around 1 am she headed home. I am so tired so I am heading to bed.

For some reason, I'm not seeing the picture... I'm guessing it's about snow?
So glad you had time to go hope her sort her clothes! I always find I need to bring in some recruits to help me get things done this time of the year! All of my friends are just as busy as I am and barely keeping up with their own things so I don't have to call upon to come and help, but I do have a Grandma (friend of my mom's) Lady who comes to help me occasionally. She's coming today.
Ok.. now the picture is there! I was right. It IS about snow.
It was funny because I don't think she really believed someone would come and help her. I told her that sometimes it takes a friend to help you get movitated to go through and get rid of items you don't really love. I was very proud of her . . . she gave away a TON of stuff!
Great day - work, helping others, something you love(riding), and friends....glad you had such a blessed day.
