7th Anniversary - Church Picnic

Back in 1999, the Lord put on my husband's heart to start a church. He had youth pastored for almost 10 years and then was an Evangelist for 5 . . . traveling all over the world preaching at churches, conferences, camps and Bible Schools. In 2000 Easter Sunday we had our first service. We started the church with about 13 people. Now, 7 years later we are running a little over 400. To help celebrate our church anniversary, each year we have a church picnic. Yesterday, after service about 100 of our church members gathered together for a fun time of food, fun and fellowship! Here are a few pictures from our picnic.
While the kids played at the park . . ..

the adults played vollyball. Here are newlyweds Ron and Cindy.
Raul and Millie
Rich and his precious little girl - ArianaMelany and Ava

Bonnie, me, Lisa and Rosie
Mark, Lisa, Javier and my two crazy sons in the back - Jordan and Taylor!
Angela, Michelle, Stacy and Lisa H.Me and Bonnie
My battery started running out so I couldn't get pictures of anyone else.
We couldn't of asked for a more perfect day. Usually each year we are all sweating because of the heat and humidity. It was once a again 80 degrees, sunny, light breeze and no humidity! Thanks Lord!
Later that evening Carlos had a meeting at our home for our Market Place ministry. This involves all business owners in our church. I rushed home to get everything ready. After the meeting, Ken, Lisa and Ava hung out for a little bit. Taylor was at their house babysitting Kaitlyn and Christian.
I had been holding Ava and then Carlos walked by us. Her eyes followed him all the way to the loveseat where he was sitting. So, he took her for awhile . . . what a good Godfather!

Congratulations! I'm curious what you guys do in your Marketplace Ministry. Can you post on that sometime? Sounds like an interesting outreach.
