Mom and Dad made into town just 30 minutes later than what they had expected. We met them at Chick Fil A for dinner because Alexia was working tonight and they wanted to stop by and see her. We parked the car and as we got out we saw Dad and Yankee outside the restaurant.
Landon ran up to dad and gave him a BIG HUG!

Somehow I didn't get Alexia in this picture but she was their taking mom and dad's order!
When we got home the kids showed mom and dad the fort that Landon had built. Then we all decided to walk over and go see the land behind us. By the time we got back it was time for Sierra to take her bath. Here she is with mom getting some snuggles before hopping in bed.
After we got Sierra in bed mom and I decided to drive over to Lisa's so she could see her house. Mom LOVED the house but she LOVED getting some snuggle time with Ava too!
Lisa had this picture taken of Ava. I have a copy but this one is larger and shows up better for the blog. Love her!!!!!!!!!!!
Everyone is now in their beds probably sound asleep which is where I need to be. :-)

How fun that the grandparents have come for a visit!
It was a short but sweet visit! They headed up to Cincinnati today for a huge 50th Anniversary party for my aunt and uncle! They are going to stop by on their way back . . we are taking care of their dog Yankee!
How precious to have such frequent visits with grandparents. You are blessed.
Actually De'Etta . . .if you were talking to Sierra right now she would say once every few months is not enough. My mom and dad did tell me that they are going to try to make it here once a month for the weekend! They really miss the kids!
