Sunday Stuff

Today we had a great service at church. After service we headed over to the local pizza joint for lunch with Ken and Lisa, Kevin and Lisa and Luis and ALL the kids! We took Kevin and Lisa out to lunch to tell them thank you for all the do to serve the church. They are BOTH very faithful! After lunch we all headed home. Lisa called me and asked me if I wanted to walk . . so I changed clothes and met her over at her house. We ended up walking for almost an hour. We had just gotten home from the walk and Alexia pulled up in Lisa's driveway. The three of us went in to Lisa's house and got some water and hung out a while. Lisa's mom and dad stopped over and brought over the most delicious Korean food and some homemade banana bread. I then went home around 6:00 to get things ready because our friends Mark and Mary were coming over. I ended up running to the grocery real quick to pick up a few snacks. On the way home I looked up in the sky and saw the most beautiful full moon that I have ever seen. It looked as if it was just hovering right above the trees. I was trying not to speed home but I wanted to try to get a picture. I run in the house to get my camera and I took the following picture . . . you don't know how close the moon looked but my low zoom camera shows it like a tiny dot! Oh well! Jordan and his friend Rodney were working on stuff on the computer! Jordan has started working for a company called Hello World. (He is still working for Best Buy too!) . It's so cool . . . for $10.00 a month you get video email, video blogging and video instant messaging. I want to get our whole family signed up so we can video IM. It's sooooooooooooooooo cool!
My first blessing - Jordan Daniel
Jordan's best buddy - Rodney
Here is our friend Mark. We have known Mark and his wife Mary for about 20 years. Years ago when we first started youth pastoring he and Mary were two of our leaders. Also, Mark was our praise and worship leader for the youth group. Since the old days, he has worked for two major ministries. He is now an Evangelist and travels all over preaching the Word of God. If you all need a wonderful speaker in your church . . . let me know . . .he is incredible!
We had another cold front come in so it was a little chilly. Mary was cold and was warming up by the fire!
Alexia ended up spending the night over at Ken and Lisa's house and Taylor spent the night over at Carlos' parents house. Sierra went to bed not feeling too well. She seemed to be running a low grade fever and complained that her body was kind of achey. I pray she wakes up in the morning feeling better.

When we left FL on the 3rd it seemed like you guys were heading for another cold spell. It was SO NICE while we were in the area, though. It was PERFECT.... but when we left it was chilly and starting to rain.

I think it did get cold right after you all left. Thank goodness the warm weather greeted you!
