Sierra's Field Trip
Today I chaperoned Sierra's 1st grade field trip to Sea World. Each parent was assigned two or three children to watch during the day. Once we got to the park we were free to go to or see what we wanted. We had to be back at the main gate by 3:45 to be ready to leave to go home by 4:00.Here is Saigon, Libni, Sierra, Maggie and Brittney. The first three were in my group and then Maggie's mom Karen had the other two. We all stayed together all day!We went to the Whale Dolphin Show first . . .
We then saw the Clydesdale horses . . .they were so majestic!
We stopped to take a look at the flamingo's.
We then headed to another show called Pet's Ahoy. It was so amazing to see how they had trained the cats and dogs to do so many things. The cool thing about these animals is that they were all adopted from rescue clinics.
We then headed over to the Shamu show but they ended up cancelling the show because Shamu had a baby last night . . . so it was back to Happy Harbor until it was time to head home. The weather was gorgeous . . 80 and sunny. It was a perfect day!

You know you live in a great place when your field trip is to Seaworld! Excellent pictures.
Part of the perks of living where we live :-)
That's the kind of trip people here have to spend 1,000's of ££££ on!
You had a great day for it too!
We went to Seaworld in Florida about 20 years ago. I'm sure there was a Shamu there then. Would that be the same whale?
Dorothy
It was a great day Dorothy! The weather was perfect! As far a being the same Shamu . . . my guess is that through the years they bring in new ones but then again I am not totally sure :-)
FUN FUN! Yet another reason for us to come back to FL SOON!
