Selena's Birthday Party

Saturday we went to Selena's birthday party. The kids had a great time . . There were rides, pizza and cake. We even had a special treat of getting to see a Circus elephant perform! Here are a few pictures from the day!

For those of you who have been praying for Selena and my brother in law and his girlfriend . . .this is Selena and her mom Deanna. Continue to lift them all up in prayer. Deanna is doing much better but still has a long way to go. She asked me yesterday to please keep praying for her.

Kaitlyn and Selena have become great playmates. They have got to know each other from playing over at my house and from church. Della, Selena's grandmother had called me weeks before the party and told me she wanted to invite Kaitlyn and the rest of her family! Ken and Lisa couldn't make it at the last minute due to Ken having to rush to the airport to pick up his parents when their flight got cancelled due to a snowstorm. I ended up picking up Kaitlyn and bringing her with us so she could still make it! She ended up having a blast! Selena loves Dora and Barney . . .she ended up with an adorable Dora cake. Blow out the candles and make a wish!

After the party we headed back to Lisa's house. We all had another party to attend. Our friend Millie's daughter had a sweet 16 party so we were all off to another party. We got home around 11:00. I ended up leaving my cell phone in Ken and Lisa's van so I headed back over there and ended up hanging out for anothe hour or so. It was a long but fun day!
